Hey all, this is my first post, and I'm pretty happy to finally have access to this site. I just have a problem that I need help with, I'm not seeing any improvements. Now, I'm a medical major in college, so I know it's not going to happen overnight, but I've been working pretty much every day (except Sunday, resting day). When I joined the local gym, this is what they suggested as a routine (from a personal trainer): MWF Horizontal Bench press Seated Row Shoulder press E-Z bar arm curl Tricep Pushdowns (with forearms worked in, using the rope) Knee Raises Ball Ab Crunches TR Horizontal Leg Press Leg extentions Seated Leg curl Calf Raises
all are 3 sets, 10 reps each, except for knee raises (15 reps, 3 sets), and ab crunches (20 reps, 3 sets).
For nutrition I usually have 2 eggs in the AM with ham cubes, a roast beef sandwich for lunch, and for dinner, well, whatever's edible from the dining hall, which is usually meat, and I try to incorporate some sort of pasta and vegetables in there, although not always available. About a quart of milk a day, and a protein shake with about 100g of protein (2 servings, 2 servings of milk, and 5 servings of peanut butter).
I've seen the weights go up a bit, and my weight, but it doesn't seem like my BMI is going down, or the size of the muscles. If anyone has any advice, or any place they can link me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
