My weak point with squats is about 6 inches above paralell - I have no problem getting out of the hole, but I've definately got a sticking point just about 6 inches above parallel. Any ideas on how to work specifically on this?

I've done quite a bit of searching about this but it doesn't seem to be a common sticking point - the only things I could think of were really high box squats or front squats to try and isolate my quads more. Quarter squats?

Also, am I right in thinking that this is due to my glutes/hams/lower back overpowering my quads? Thanks guys...

I would go with box squats using a bench, as this is normally 16-17'' ...
