Posted at October 11, 2006, 9:41 pm: First off, I'd like to say this is my first post and I'm now addicted to this website and please excuse me if I say any "newb" comments. haha. My journey started early Sept. 06 when I decided that I was tired of feeling fat and also not being able to fit into last winters clothes. That being said I got to a good start and went from 247 on sept. 4th to 224 on oct. 10th. That may be too much weight too fast but I'm not to sure. My plan is to get to 200 lbs. and then start weight lifting. Is this a good plan or should I throw some weights in right now? My plan was to get to 200lbs by mid december when semester is over and then join a gym and go from there most likely bulking then cutting. Whats everyones opinion? I see a lot of guys getting down to a much lighter weight and packing on muscle but what would be best? My diet really isnt as crazy strict as others on here. I do eat a lot of tuna/chicken/oats but I am a snacker and thats what really kills me but I think I've got it down to a minimum with eating healthy foods. Roughly 1500 cal. a day. My workouts are not nearly as strict either. I do mild cardio for about 30-40 min/4-5 days a week with a jog/walk. I've set my goal for next summer for with a trip to the beach and to hopefully not be ashamed to take off my shirt and be proud of what I've done for myself. Any suggestions or comments from anyone will be appreciated!! My measurements as of now are: chest - 42" waist - 42.5" upper arm - 14.5" thighs - 26" I have no idea of my bf%....Where can I go to get this done?
