I'm teaching a wild shroom cooking class next weekend and wanna take dried shrooms (not an issue) and fresh wilds (BIG issue) on the flt.

Latest word is no ice/gel packs but frozen peas and corn.....fresh wilds are so fragile.....I figure between leaving home and getting into Chapel Hill I'm looking at 8 hours. I also figure the shrooms should be put in my suitcase and sent to the hold......

Anyone got any ideas on how to bring them along with as little damage as possible?


I'm leaving my knives at home, figure I can use the ones at the school.
