So basically I'm trying to expand my palet and try cooking with new exciting medians, if anyone knows of some well rounded cookbooks with exotic food items or seasonings or regional produce it would be great. I am not a culinary student nor do I work in the food industry, I'm a young novice when it comes to exotic flavoring and dishes. If you know of any good beginners books that would be nice too, I don't necessarily want books with just recipes, is there a basic formal book that covers do's and don'ts in regards to spices, produce, bases, bullions? I also live in Denver if that matters.
