Most of us were fairly sure they were, but this is the first "official" acknowledgement that they are doing so. In the marketing newsletter I received today, at the top:

"Due to the recent developments in the USA regarding the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, Poker Plex has ceased to accept bets from US based players. Players with an outstanding account balance will have their funds sent via check which will take three to four weeks."

So there we have it. Now I just have to get them to take me off their !@#%&* mailing list.
