I read that Party poker had a pop up which allowed you to sign a prewritten letter which will be sent to your state rep. Now I agree, I myself am bitter about Party dropping us so quickly, but I did go and sign this petition. I am still going to do anything that even has a 1% chance of having my voice heard even if means teaming with Party whom I say is a sellout. I know why they did what they did, but I still feel they should have stayed to fight the good fight and again its just my opinion. Also the fact that something like this should have been months ago and wasnt is just as sickening. After I did this, Party also had a thing about the PPA and offered membership for free. It was real easy to join, and it was 100% free of charge. I know they once offered something like this where you actually made some money for signing up but on the actual PPA site membership was $20.00 so I figure if anyone wanted to still join, this would be a quick, easy and free way of doing it. Now I am not sure just what they will be doing. I also am of the opinion that they didnt do enough prior to this bill passing, but you know I wasnt even a member, so I have no real cause to bitch about it although I still do. If you are not a member of the PPA, lets get that sign up and help make them one million members strong! The more that people speak up, the better chance that we will be heard for this issue and for any other future issues that the Gov throws at us.
