Id like to see Party pick up the tab at several hotels. pack the cars with your friends, and make a party out of it. Party Poker's Poker Party. Maybe they can arrest everyone. 2. Continued phone calls. You have the numbers call. tell them you are voting against anyone who didnt oppose the bill. Have friends call, hell pay them five or ten. 3. Boycott the WSOP. IF you read soem of the 2+2 posts, you saw where Harrahs gave Frist 20k. THey own the WSOP. IT woudl be a great way to flex some muscle. If we got enough name pros onboard. ANd take it a step further, dont jsut promise to boycott the WSOP events, but ANY Harrahs casino. Make a day where we call them on the phone and say we wont go back to a Harrah's B&M casino ANYWHERE, Indian or Vegas, etc. The WSOP is already going to suffer, but if all the poker rooms had their paid "teams" pull out........or at least threaten to. That kind of boycott would also get us back on the news. 4. Ive seen a lot of peopel who have always or almost always voted republican here and otehr forums. Take a day, call the Republican headquarters. truthfully or not, tell them you never voted Dem nationally before, but you will this year. You will take friends who did not vote before, and ask them to vote Dem. If youre a member, CANCEL it, on the phone. THen fax them a copy of a receipt for becoming a Democrat. This works also if youre Independant(say you were driven from listening to both sides, to pushing vote democrat straight ticket.) Emphasize youre 99% LOST FOR LIFE. 5. I made a card with my two senators and Reps card. Most places I go and know people, I am handing it out, and asking them to call. I dont know how many actually will, but people tend to have a negaztive reaction to this, and Ilive in the Bible belt. 6. Call Bill Frist. Not your reps, him. Tell him where you are, and you will vote against him in any primary, show up at any event with a nasty sign about him if he runs for Pres. YOu will give money to hsi opponent in the primary and (god forbid) main election opponent. I dont think he realizes the hatred he has generated. 7. Call HIllary. Ask where she stands. tell her youre white male and fiscally conservative, but fucking believe in freedom. Say promise to make poker accessible, she doesnt have to get it regulated, but will call the DoJ and USDAs dogs off, we will vote for her. Hell it might not play in Iowa so well, but it WILL in RI. But let it be known, lukewarm lip service wont do, were more sophisticated than the average voter. Mccain should get a similar promise, but he is republican, maybe a call there saying you cant vote republican ever again? to HIS campaign. not senate offices. 8. Join the ACLU. I hate them. I do. but they have pull in the democratic party. and thats going to be our only hope. Call them, say you want to join if they intend to fight for poker players. A coordinated sign up period would be best. ANyways, if anyoen has anything to add, or a way to broaden these ideas to other corners of the net, speak up.
