hey guys!

i'm trying to pursue a career in the games industry as an illustrator/concept artist and i've been working on getting my skills up to the professional level. basically, this is what i enjoy doing and this is what i want to do for a living.

i also have experience with 3D modeling but i definitely enjoy illustration more. i just want to know what the pros and cons are for seeking a career as a concept artist as opposed to a 3D profession. for instance, job availability, job security, pay amount etc. i also want to know if you have any tips for people like me in trying to reach this goal as well as what to expect once i get there.
