Posted at June 15, 2006, 2:38 pm: Hi. In 2003 (my rookie year) a guy called Nicholas began chatting to me on a site about movies. He invited me to join some Resident Evil forums, namely Resident Evil Horror and TotallyRE. Both of those sites seemed to dislike me from the start and banned me shortly after I signed up there because I acted like an idiot, as either zombiefied or Grace Saunders. TotallyRE was the worst of the two. A member called Nelo Angelo edited a picture of a Delibird I had and added red paint to it to make it look gory. Even though I complained to Marco and got my mother involved, it didn't make a difference. They had it in for me and my zombiefied account was banned after I submitted exactly 100 posts. But I made dozens of other accounts to pester them or hound Marco into removing my inactive accounts. I also got into a tiresome feud with several moderators on a few Pokémon forums. Resident Evil Horror seemed much more interesting and peaceful. Everybody was really fond of the series like I was, so I settled in and didn't want to leave. But this secret group called Ronin were out to ban me from the boards. Nicholas (Alexander Ashford) then told me he hated me, even though I don't recall being rude to him. He just didn't share my common interests and wanted me to leave him alone. After being banned multiple times, the admin DaMa let me stay because they moved to a new layout and they must have known I'd be back. So of course, I posted away like there was no tomorrow. People thought I was either a spammer or an activist, because I made a lot of topics to keep the momentum going during quiet news periods. The result didn't matter to me. I soon became the top poster and it felt magnificent. I was proud of my status. Of course, I'm not a bad spammer. The rank I achieved there was just a feel good bonus and I've never had a successful run like that on any other forum I've been to. But then Marco from TotallyRE told DaMa I had been a nuisance. Therefore DaMa ordered me to leave his forums. All of the veterans ganged up on me and said they'd mail me viruses if I didn't leave the forums for good. Then I started getting booted out of other boards, such as those located in their profiles and signatures. I stumbled across another site called Resevil.com and although it was very idiotic and sloppy looking, they felt sorry that DaMa had been nasty towards me and others who knew what he was like. I became an active poster there as well, but then I said something out of line regarding attacking DaMa if I ever met him, so SMartAsh banned me. The route I took after this was rather zany. I just kept registering new accounts to post. Then the oldest member of the boards called Lucky offered to be my friend because everybody else seemed to hate my guts. RECommunity also started a conspiracy to ban me because I made too many polls about 80's music. The owner of RECommunity is called blackannis and I sent pizzas to her house this year because she banned me 2 years ago. Lucky is 40 now but back then, we started our own community called Resevil Umbrella after Resevil.com was temporarily closed. But it was boring and I had this obsessive urge to be accepted into Resident Evil Horror again. So I continued to pester the boards that banned me. In May 2004 I found out my grandmother had cancer and I told Lucky about it, who then told TotallyRE about it, hoping they'd cease abusing me. I used this site to cloak my IP address and I created multiple accounts and sung 80's songs to Marco and I posted other crap to annoy the members. But they used her illness as an excuse to abuse me again. Therefore I continued to flood Marco's e-mail address with junk sent from other forums and websites, because I blamed him for me being banned elsewhere. Lucky wanted me to stop annoying Marco and others, so she temporarily suspended my rights to the Admin CP on her site. But as soon as I got my job back, I went nuts and tried to ban everybody involved. I wanted to take the site hostage. I was 100% out of it. Really. Because I attempted to demot Lucky and came up short whilst trying, Lucky banned and deleted me not only from Resevil Umbrella, but from other external forums too. I used several proxy servers to shield my real IP address and I continued to register hundreds of accounts to either apologise, or get in a bad mood and spam like crazy. Lucky went around a few support forums for forum hosters and they pretty much took her side and said they'd try and cookie ban me. But obviously they couldn't, because I was too smart. ForumFlash is one of the forums she ran to for advice. Around this time, Lucky sent me an email trying to act smooth, so I gave her my REAL address details and phone number, even though I live in another country. She told me a few men sexually abused her when she was a young orphan, so I really really felt compassion for her and said I loved her. God only knows what went through my thick skull back then. But I had to cry myself to sleep for weeks because she kept banning me and I lost my appetite. I had to move on. I was very upset about the Internet, but I just knew I had to try. I made a brilliant Silent Hill forum called the Room 312 Boards with a guy called Zakk, using ForumFlash. A lot of people arrived, and remained loyal and generally sincere. We recruited Lucky to add a skin to the forums, since I never knew how to apply this myself. She did just that. But then she got in a bad mood and deleted all the categories and threads on the boards to get back at me. To make matters worse, she corrupted a Dutch lady called Ada into harassing me too and all of Ada's friends banned me and humiliated me on their separate boards. Ada and I were both members of the Capcom Central Forums and we spoke to each other on MSN sometimes. But because she knew Lucky, trouble was on the way. While Lucky and I were being nice to each other again, I let her help me on some low-rate Dino Crisis forums I had. Ada was there too. While I was offline, one of them erased my account and then continued to deny it. Ada deleted me from her forums and I was very cross because I had made so many posts and topics there. A few days later, I used a proxy server and discovered I had moderating features and I snapped and proceeded to delete a lot of topics off of her boards. Within days, I recieved a threatening phone call from Ada, asking me if I liked hacking servers. Then she phoned my sister in the middle of the night to ask us if we sold puppies. Several other Resident Evil and Silent Hill forums all over the Internet banned me just because they put my Grace Saunders name on notice. They all made a spectacle out of me repeatedly, but I kept going back to post because I'm an addict. I needed it like a smoker needs tobacco. I also got banned from some RPG-related forums because I kept posting about music and movies that people were not interested in. Some guy also mocked a professional wrestler I admired, because he used substances that damaged his heart. This lead to his untimely death and this Tharrick guy maintains that it was drugs that killed him. For the uneducated, the wrestler he was slagging off was the WWE hero Eddie Guerrero. Because nobody responded to my posts at the BladeGash Forums, I invited my sister to use her own account to reply to my topics so they could remain at the top of the pile. While they reluctantly approved of this drama for a while, they soon banned us after I made way too many pointless topics, either praising old pop groups for arguing with moderators. Well, mostly Michael or MoonSlasher, but still. My life on the Internet is like a vicious cycle of banishments, proxies, text wars, e-sympathy, guilt, stupidity and mindless ramblings, all because those nutters gave me an undeserved bad reputation online. I've been a member of hundreds and hundreds of different forums in the past 3 years and nobody treats me like I'm worth something to the community. My topics usually get 1 or no replies and they all end up banning me eventually because I struggle to fit in. Recently I thought about retiring from the Internet for good. I've had a semi-decent year so far, but it really is just causing me no end of anguish, and I keep writing these lists of websites over and over again. Then I'll bin them and write them out again at a later date. I don't know why though. I even tried to contact their hosts about the abuse, but nobody seems to care.
