Holy Crap,
everybody and their Grandma has been posting this week. It's rare to see so many good threads in the Finally Finished at once. I thought I'd throw some new stuff in as well. I'm currently working on a bunch of covers for Marvel Comics that will hopefully be released sometime soon. I'll ask for permission to show some of the stuff I've been working on. Until then, here is a load of personal work.

EDIT: I just saw that these two covers got released on Newsarama, so I thought, I should add them here. First one is for the Blade Mini-Series, that I will be doing the first six covers for. Second one is X-Men. Enjoy.
And here are the original thumbs that I used to paint over in PS. Changes were done as I painted along.
This was a characterdesign I made about two weeks ago. I had this strange urge to finally draw big again, so I switched form my typical 8x11 to a 9x14 sheet.
After the first character was successful, I grabbed a bigger sheet, this time 14x19, and did this character. It took me about 20 fucking hours to render all the detail on this one. Doh!
Meanwhile I'm working on an even bigger one to explore my limits more.
These are all done from imagination. It's kind of an experiment for my mind, to see how real I can get just by trying to remember how things look like and feel.
Here's another little character for a personal project done two nights ago.
And here are some color sketches in oil that I made early this year, all of them unfinished unfortunatly

I really dig this page for some reason. It was done without using an eraser, trying to hit all the right marks and proportions with the first line.
