These are paintings I do in gouache to study master paintings. I do these in my spare time when I feel the need to find more in the stuff I dont paint as often. I learned a great deal about painting tech studying Berkey, the factory, as well as the car...which I cant remember the artists name off hand. The scene with the room is Sunbloom, the cowboys are Dean Cornwell. These images are composed very well, and I want to get something more out of them than just looking at them and wishing I sould do that kind of work...now I know how they did what they did, and I feel stronger in approaching similar subject matter...

Anyway, its all a learning experience. They are all done on a little 5 x 7 brown paper sketch book that's just about had it...
