I downloaded the patch and the site said to have Painter 9.1 open while doing it. I did and it would not install. Any tips on installing this puppy?

I held the shift key when starting 9.
Anyone? I checked out Corel's website but could not find and help.
I'd just download the "free trial" of Painter IX and install...
