er..

Thing is...I had very nearly finished this big painting in 9.5 when somethin wierd happened to my computer and it restarted itself >__< when it finished and I opened painter again, it refused to open the .Rif file...there was a message that said there wasn't enough disk space to open it (though my properties bar tells me there's over 3 gb left...)

I dunno, is there a way to save it? It won't open in other programs and I even tried reinstalling painter. O__O I'll start over if I must, as it's a commissioned piece, but I would really prefer not to...

Sounds like your rif file might have been corrupted.

Painter automatically records your brush strokes etc.

nah, that didn't work either, it just restated the disk space thing.

The memory problem when opening a file after an error, or a crash seem...

I have a HUGE problem with this also.
