Posted at July 12, 2006, 9:44 pm: Our company, Xoom Entertainment, is based out of Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. We are currently putting together conceptual art for a few projects in our production pipeline. We are looking for artists who can produce a few screen shots for each project, based on our direction as to the kind of look and environment we are looking for. This will involve producing about 10 detailed screen shots initially, for which we will pay $500. These will have to be detailed and colored according to our exact specs (once concept is approved). Some of these are for animation projects and some for live action films. The artists must be able to produce characters of any ethnic background, and be willing to research the ethnic background if they are not familiar with it. The person(s) selected for this will then be retained on a contractual basis for the entire project and for any of our future projects as well. Depending on the number of responses we get, and based on the artistic talent we find in these responses, we may have to hire more than one artist. In this case, the initial work may be less than $500, but each artist chosen will be given future work for our upcoming projects on a contractual basis.
