I am currently seeking a CG artist (or concept) For a sci fi film i am writing called Earth 2250.
Here is a description of the transportation.
Cars hover above the ground by using a controlled electric magnetation device that is located underneath the car. When parked, the car is magnetized to the ground. The car then reverses the magnetation in order to hover. These cars are also equipped with low-level reverse magnetation bumpers on the front, back, and side of the car to avoid any collisions. The police cars are equipped with special front magnet bumpers to attach to the back of other cars for pulling them to the side of the road.
For far distance trips, a car is placed into a mini docking platform equipped with wings and jet rockets. This attachment is computer controlled with an automated flight path to anywhere in the biosphere.
