Hindia Sanskrit Workshop has been working in the creation of an online con-world project. This project will be a non-profit medium sized project that consists of Fantasy Writers, Visual Artists and Musicians who will work together creating a revolutionary brand new world. It is a medium where artists will be able to extend their creativity to the greatest limit, free from the 'standard' and the 'stereotype'.
What does it take to become a member of Hindia Sanskrit. Hindia Sanskrit does not believe in creating something that is already there. Hindia Sanskrit is the Dadaism of Fantasy and Gaming. We exist to challenge our paradigm of what is fantasy and what is game. We create new style and most of all new taste; which is what many fantasies lack of. Together we will create cultural revolution to the world of fantasy and RPG. The time is over now for Tolkien Archetypes that simply recreate world with random senseless names and realms that has no logic other than a tolkienian world. Hindia Sanskrit believe Artists are thinkers above visual craftsmen. Hindia Sanskrit is a philosophy. Either you have it or you don't.
Why should you trust this project?
It is because it is not made by people who only have interest in making fun games. It is because we are people who think and who have the dream of making fantasy into something we can be proud of. We dream of fantasy that has depth, richness and contain intellectual as well as visual capacity.
What has been done so far?
Due to the realisation that Hindia Sanskrit is short of members (however Hindia Sanskrit will not give up its spirit for originality), Hindia Sanskrit is now in very much of Design Documentation progress. It is the most important to create a solid fantasy that has logical explanation rather than randomness. Hindia Sanskrit is working on setting up a website that would attract more members. Therefore we are working on the Main Idea and Website(visual and music). We proudly have a classical composer working on us as well.
What is our future plan?
-Create an online database to our world, which will become a creative source of international roleplayers.
-Have an agreement with a non profit studio to use this rich resource as RPG game, either for PnP, offline RPG or even MMORPG. Hindia Sanskrit will provide visual, musical and textual resource for game development and will supervise the creation of the game in case of there is a pervertion of the true concept.
Am I competent to be a member?
A member would need commitment, if minimum one hour per week dedicated to the project. Most of all: a member should be an excellent creative skill and a thoughtful artist. Hindia Sanskrit does not value technical skill that is not supported with creativity. Members must be active in MSN messenger or Forum Checking once a week. Hindia Sanskrit would be interested in recruiting:
-A webdesigner with knowledge of basic flash. A knowledge of layout, colorisation and image handling is very important. A webdesigner is also a webmaster unless he assign it to someone the project can trust.
-Visual Artists with basic knowledge and sense of style and taste. We do not want to create something real but something that express itself from its form. Visual artists should realise that this project is not focused on european culture but of fusion culture instead. (need six)
-Fantasy Writers who can submerge into this new world and its fantasy and philosophy. Like visual designers, they should never follow the standard idea but instead release their creativity in creating anti-tolkien fantasies. Some writers will be allocated to create beings, vegetations, places and geography and some will be tasked to fill in historical events of the world. (need three)
-Non profit game development workshop. through the progress of the database, Hindia Sankskrit will discuss a deal with a person or a team that is capable of realising the resource into an interactive world.
I have read all of the above, but how do I sign up?
Any application must include a sample of their work which they think is the most creative and revolutionary. It is recommended that applicants have MSN Messenger or other online chat software. once you are accepted, the Head of the Workshop will talk to you and will either give you a task or will put you in semi-active stage because your skill is not needed yet). However, the creation of the main idea is a very tiring and long exhausting process and members are encouraged to suggest or to give opinions. The enthusiasm and interest in the main idea itself is really important.
