(See "Full Description of our Focus" farther down in this post for more details) Compensation: No pay (but you will get full credit for your work, links to your portfolio/site.. etc) Technology: A copy of Dawn Of War and maybe Winter Assault would be good but is not a requirement, however photoshop or painter can be use for texturing and 3ds Max Animating ( or what ever can be used that imports seamlessly into 3ds Max). This game is Based on a table Top battle game called Warhammer 40,000. Since DoW was in Public Beta Myself and others Formed a Team (the Tau Mod Team) dedicated to Adding a New Race based on the Tau. One of the Races they Left out in the Original game and the First Expansion.. Our team in time made Public Beta Releases of the Tau Mod as we Progressed becoming more and more popular in the community. Later Being recognized by PCGamer (US and UK versions) on a couple occasions in Mod Watch and We also have been very popular in the Downloads Section on Dowfiles and other Mirrors. Since our last release in January 2006 many of our Team members have Had Industry Job offers or Real life issues and have unfortuantely had to move on.. but have left great work behind and their hard work hasn't been forgotten.. Now we have more than Double the content we had in our last Release (which was a Beta) and We're Aiming for a Mid August Semi-Final Release of the Tau Mod. We have most everything done (models modelled.. code written.. FX done.. voices.. sounds.. and many animations and textures) but just recently our only animator got a Job offer so he now has no time to work on whats left and we haven't had a texture Artist for a while..
