As many of you already know, I have now confirmed in my research that the rates for VISA / MC vary greatly for qualified and non-qualified cards. One merchant services vendor charges 2.19% for qualified and 4.14% for non-qualified transactions, quite a difference. Can anyone tell me what % of their online and/or internet sales are counted as as non-qualified on their merchant account. Does anyone know if the rewards and/or affinity cards are considered qualified? Thank you.
