I sell at bidz.com where non-payors are quite prevalent. I now put a clause in my auctions that states non-payor is responsible for collections and/or legal fees associated with attempting to collect the bid amount. My collection agency adds their fee to the balance and goes after the whole amount. I was using an agency called Mad Agency but have switched to Alacrity Collections www.alacritycollections.com. Their fee is 35% and they accept any balance. So far, I am having pretty good success.[/url]

I do not recommend going state by state to find an agency as most age...
