Posted at August 16, 2005, 5:40 am: Hi people. I have been selling for about 2 years on Ebay, mainly my homemade arts and crafts. I am trying to expand my sales outside of Ebay and would like to start selling via YAHOO auctions. I may mention that I am an international seller outside USA, but would like to reach an international audience, so I want to list on YAHOO.COM instead of my local site. A few days ago, I spent a long time registering with yahoo auctions, verifying my credit card with Yahoo Wallet, and taking pictures/typing descriptions. But when I tried to list on Yahoo auctions, after clicking "Submit", it leads only to a blank page. I thought this was OK, no error messages or anything, but I checked my selling items and it says I am not currently selling anything. I thought perhaps there was something wrong with the lister on site, so I downloaded Yahoo's free seller's manager software and tried listing from there. It didn't work either and returned the following error: Item: Submission Error during bulk upload Error: Failed HTML Analysis Additional Info: SubmitWasOK (didn't find 'Congratulations') I asked my friend to try it at her office computer, and same thing happened. I had e-mailed Yahoo auctions but it has been days and I haven't gotten any response and I wonder if even my e-mails were being submitted to them. I called my local country's Yahoo customer service, and they said they were not responsible for the yahoo.com site, only the local site. They gave me a number to call, which I did, only to be met with a voice message saying that they do not take phonecalls for free services. Can someone please help me with this? What can I do? I really want to get a start on selling on Yahoo auctions and I am getting rather frustrated and wasting a lot of time.
