Hope this isn't considered a cross-post, but for those of you who are interested in considering the case I have on file, in which I accuse ebay of acting as an illegal insurer in Illinois, please look at the complaint (complain.irq) at this site:

Please forward me any pertinent info you may come across, any thoughts, and anecdotal or empirical evidence.

Also, please, everybody who's been victimized by EBAY's illegal scams, do sue ebay every chance you get! I love ebay, but thee comes a time when someone has to teach it a lesson. It cannot violate all of the laws it is violating without getting caught. I've told its lawyers that I don't have to win my case in order that eBay will lose. It's the next ten thousand plaintiff's who sue ebay who will cause it to sit up and take notice. Spread the word.
