A person would think that eBay makes enough money without the use of "illegal trade practices"...however I personally state they are in violation of "illegal trade practices" against me.

This past New Years weekend, I setup an account to make purchases on eBay. I found a seller who had hundred's of auctions, all starting at .01 and no reserve. Not uncommon practice on eBay.

Well, I won 369 auctions for a total of $38.21. No typo..369 auctions for $38.21. They included tons of electronics, car speakers, mini stereo systems, etc. I was very happy and was looking forward to paying for the items. I did read each auction very carefully. No place did the seller list that the buyer could not pick up the items, nor that the items must be shipped. I planned to pay for the auctions and then have one of my trucks pick them up. All legal, no big deal.

That following Monday, eBay suspends my account on the grounds of "Unwelcome Bidder", by eBay definition a person with no intent of purchase or primary intent to disrupt the auction listing. I immediately informed eBay this was certainly not the case and I planned on purchasing each and every item...come on! 369 auctions for $38.21!!! Who wouldn't buy that!? Therefore eBays claim was false, had no merit and that I had not violated ANY eBay or seller terms or condition. Therefore I demanded my account be reinstated immediately so I could continue to do my business on eBay. However eBay "stonewalled" me and kept my account closed. I many many, many inquiries of why they were keeping my account closed, since all evidence proved I was intending to purchase every auction and had not violated ANY terms or conditions. After about two weeks of this, they replied that it was not the $38.21 for the 369 auctions, but the shipping costs. I explained to them AGAIN, that they could see each auction and no place in the auction did it state that the buyer could not pick up the item, nor the item must be shipped and ebay given all the CLEAR EVIDENCE that eBay had no right to act as "seller" and that any issues of shipping was between myself and the actual seller.

After some investigations, I found the "seller" and his "shipper: was one in the same..hence the HUGE shipping charges. The seller operated under at least 4 known seller names on eBay and has THOUSANDS of complaints on eBay. The seller also has so many complaints at the local BBB in the Nashville, TN area the BBB does not even take complaints on them anymore..over 116 and NO ANSWERED. I gave all this detailed infomation to eBay..and NOTHING! I tried to call eBay and they tranfer you to the "Office of the President"...WHAT A JOKE!!! I found it to be low level front line of IDIOTS that basically do NOTHING!

EBay is doing nothing more than protecting a "cash cow" that generates lots of cash for eBay. EBay appears not to care less about the basic consumer as long as cash is generated. EBay absolutley has NO RIGH to act as SELLER OR BUYER when it is CLEAR nothing has been violated.

EBay is in violation of "Illegal Trade Practices" and possibly fraud and other violations. Reports have already been made to the San Jose BBB, Federal trade Commission and other authorities. We are also looking into a lawsuit directly against eBay Inc.

This is very disappointing..but TRUE! I have all the documentation and evidence to back this up...just waiting on the attorney group for the final go ahead on the lawsuit.

EBay, you have become a DISGRACE in my eyes! Call them at 408-376-7400..don;t take the "Office of the President", its a JOKE and you ALWAYS get a recording. Ask for Mike Jacobson VP of Legal. Or use any numbers between 408-376-5500 thru 408-376-8500 and see if Meg Whitman's number is in that group...then give her an earfull!

EBay..you are a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT//stop hiding your cash cow bogus sellers and treat the good consumer right!!!
