I tried looking for a thread that talks about this but couldn't find anything asking what i am.

I know for the obvious reason that it absorbs into your bloodstream much quicker that whey is the ideal protein for a pre and post-workout shake. But for the rest of the day, such as a mid-day shake and before bed one, wouldn't you want a protein that breaks down slowly like egg-white protein.

i realize that if you mix your shake with milk your getting casein in so that you get the best of both worlds, but the amount of protein in milk isn't nearly what you're getting from the powder. So basically, should i just do away with egg-white protein and take whey w/ all shakes?
