You know folks, I really thought ebay could not do much worse than last years television marketing. Most of last years ads were sad to say the least. The only exception was the boy with toy boat ad which I actually thought was decent.

Well ebay has just came out with their new advertising for this year. They are going to be spending untold millions of dollars on "it" (pun intended). Yes ladies and gentlemen, a part of our ebay listing fees are being used to create an ad campaign who's theme is "it" and the ebay name is not even referenced through 99% of the ad. It is a true waste of money and an insult to the buying public who watch television. To see this travesty go here....

Heaven help those of us who use ebay. I guess the good news is that with marketing like this ebay's competitors should do very well this holiday season assuming they have hired someone other than the moron that created this ad campaign.
