I have been working out now for a couple of months, with a nice bit of progress, nothing too big, body fat has slendered down and muslces are growing.

I work out every other day, and drink a protein shake 3 times a day once as soon as i get up, one at about 12.30 and then one at about 5pm, if its on workout day, then i wait until i have finished the workout and then have it. I am just wondering if there is a more optimum time of day i should be taking them. As i seem to be going through alot of protein powder, without as big a gain as i thought i might with it.

I take mine when you wake up, one about 10.
