Posted at February 27, 2014, 4:15 pm: I recently found there site through a thread on the CL forum about there amazing prices and flavors of protein poweders and BCAA+G, so after checking it out I ordered a sample pack which is not only free(when you order anything they refund the $5 cost of the pack or send you 1 lb. of free cookie mix) but they actaully pay you to test there products in a sense since you will receive a discount code good for 10% off your next order, which could be fairly large in any case. I figured it would save me some money just to get the code and I might as well get some free sample while I'm at it, and with my 25 lbs. of WPC running fairly low I now would be a good time to try some new flavors and decide on my next WPC flavor. For me choosing a flavor of Whey is a big deal, since I only order in large quantities, to save money, and don't want to be stuck with 14 lbs. of a flavor I can't stand after only a week. Anabolic Innovations offers quite a good selection of flavors (everything from choclate and vanilla through strawberry/banana and mango) and both Whey Blend and Isolate, personally I only use Blend or Concentrate and Hydro for PWO so I won't be comparing the WPC and WPI against each other. However, I will say that AI's WPC has a much better profile than the one I am currently using, which is infact almost exactly the same profile as ON Gold Standard, pretty much the standard for the industry (as the name implies) and I will be ordering atleast 15 lbs. of there Whey Blend. The three flavors I choose to sample were Cookies'n'Cream, The Elvis, and Choclate/PB. As these seem to be the most creative flavors they have and I was very curious to try them and I assume everyone including myself knows what chocolate and vanilla whey taste like. Anyway, I received my pack today and will be reviewing each of the flavors separatly, exclusivly for taste. Also, here is my basic review of the protein from AI in general. Price ~10/10 The price is almost unbeatable for the qaulity and profile of the Whey Blend from AI, for my purposes I am calling it a WPC as it as priced better than as well as having a better profile than almost all WPCs on the market. The price will vary depending on qautity and discount or with out but for example 15 lbs. without a discount is $62 or just over $4.10 a lbs. Profile ~ 10/10 About as good as a WPC gets without processing to a level that would cause it to be considered a WPI. With only 1 g. of sugar and 1 g. of fat it really is hard to beat, even has 1 g. of fiber as a little added bonus . So far I am very impressed with the product in general and it will only be matter of which flavor(s) to make up my order. First up Cookies'n'Cream or Creme for the Culinarian.
