My girlfriend is wanting to start weight training and I am not sure on how to direct her. I have been lifting for over 15 years but I have no clue on what to have a women do. I have basically put her on a high rep 15-20 reps and 12 sets per bodypart. Anyway her is the deal:

She wants to lift m-f with a couple days of cardio between weight lifting days. I can set up a split but what exercises should a women do and what rep range?

Why would you have her train differently than a man?

The type of training she does should reflect her goals.

For ladies who train kind of harcore, the 8-11 rep range is ideal.
