Alright, I'm pretty sure the workout plan I'm doing would be considered overtraining. I can't help it though, I've never lifted in my life until recently, and I want to workout everyday...

Here's what I do breifly, and then I'll tell you my problem.

Mondays Chest/Arms
Tuesdays Back/Shoulders
Wednesdays Legs

And the same thing over again...

Thursdays Chest/arms
Fridays Back/Shoulders
Saterday Legs

Sunday - Chest/arms
etc etc....

I make sure each body part has 3 days rest. I don't have a day where I do nothing. Anyway, me being the noob that I am (Noob Gains), I increased my bench 20 pounds in one week (This was last week), but this week I can't lift it anymore. I can barely do half of that increase from last week (10 pounds). So is this signs of overtraining and I should rest for a cpl days and do nothing? I just started lifting exactly two weeks ago. Oh by the way, I Feel great, I'm just wondering why I can't lift the same weight I increased to last week, I'm almost back to my beginning bench weight! So wondering if this is a sign of overtraining...

If I had my way I'd live in the gym until I reach my goal!

One last question which is completed unrelated, I just don't want to make a new thread about it. Since I've have 0 muscle, is it possible that by gaining muscle mass on my back that it will decompress my spine since the muscle is seperating my spine a bit, thus making me slightly taller? I heard that some where, so I'm just wondering if thats possible at all.

try something like 2 on,1 off with the same workout split like this...
