While I've been awhile with affiliate business, I never have any experience with receiving order/payment, since in affiliate business, I only need to refer my site visitors to the merchants and receive commissions for the sales. So, I need help regarding payment methods. I found that the standard payment method used in Ebay is Paypal. But my problem is that my country is not listed in PayPal. I've found some PayPal-like-services, but I'm a little worry about whether they're trustable or not and whether they're convenient for buyers or not. These services are: - Ikobo.com, they seem to have good features, but I've heard pro and cons about this service. What do you think about this service? Does anyone here has any experience with them? - Anypay.com, I don't have much info about this service, so I need more info about this service. Do you know any other PayPal-like-services that are trustable and convenient for buyers? Also, what do you think about receiving cheques or money order (Western Union)? As far as I know, it could cost me much money to cash foreign cheques (cheques drawn in foreign bank) in my country. Also for Western Union Money Order, I never receive money from Western Union, but from a local bank here, I've managed to get a list of fees they charge for sending money - and it is quite expensive, the lowest is around $14 USD for sending up to around $94 (the list is in my currency, i.e. Rupiah, so that dollar amount is just rough figures). Also I can't use BidPay service which uses Western Union, since my country is also not supported by them. And what about bank to bank wire transfer, is this convenient for buyers - I don't have any account in international banks such as Citibank, etc., I only have an account in some local banks? I also have an experience with an Aussie friend who complaint to me when he transfer some money to my local bank, because it costs him a lot - he asks whether I have a Citibank account, since, according to him, it will be cheaper to transfer money to a Citibank account then to my local bank account. So, could you give me any suggestions regarding the other-then-Paypal payment methods that is best to use in Ebay - for buying and for selling?
