So far I've only been doing rippetoe's workout for about 2 weeks, but its been working great! I've gone up 5lbs on every exercise, everytime I workout so far, but its getting a little tougher each time (which is expected, since the workout says go up 2.5% and 5lbs is more then that for me). So I was looking for some opinions/advice. Most of the weight that I do are between 60-100 lbs since I just started. Since my weights limit me to 5lb intervals (which isn't 2.5%), my question is this...

Should I continue to go up 5lbs everytime I exercise, unless I hit failure

OR

Should I go up 5 lbs every other exercise (so it averages 2.5% each exercise)?
