Thanks for all the inputs on my posts so far. They've helped tremendously. I think I am just about ready on my program but wanted to get some final thoughts before I go spend $$ on equipment.

Here it is:

Day1 - Barbell Squats, Glute Ham Raises (have yet to ever do these, but will buy the stand for my house)

Off atleast 1 day, preferrably 2 depending upon how I feel.

Day2 - Underhand pullups, Dips

Off for a day, and then repeat.

Keep in mind, since I surf and kiteboard alot, I need to keep my bodyweight as minimal as possible. Going up some is ok, but being a mass monster is no longer my goal as it was years ago.

What I am trying to do is build strength in core exercise movements that involve balance and multiple joints. Pretty much, functional strength.

Goals:
Squat - 200 lbs for an easy 20 reps,
Glute Ham Raise - bodyweight for an easy 20 reps,
Pull Ups - bodyweight for an easy 20 reps
Dips - bodyweight for an easy 20 reps

I might hit these goals quickly, so I'll just add a weight belt for more resistance (or increase the reps)

I left out deadlifts for now since I'll be hitting hams and lower back with the glute ham raises. However, I can/will include them if needed.

I've been doing some of this on my buddy's bowflex, but I would rather use real weights.
