I know the chest is comprised of 2 main sets of muscles. Alot of bodybuilders I've seen have alot of lower pec size and could use some more size up top.

I am wanting to incorporate weighted dips only (no other chest work for now), and I tend to put muscle on my chest very quickly. I don't want to build too much lower pec size.

Any thoughts on this from you seasoned lifters?


Here are my goals (from the perspective of a kiteboarder - bodyweight is the enemy in that sport - the less you have the better your performance):

1. Put on proportionate muscle size
2. Increase functional strength and balance
3. Keep fat and bodyweight down as much as possible
4. I DO NOT want to get as big and heavy as possible anymore

Dips are great for the lower pec but you do have to lean forward a bit...
