A little background... My left deltoid has always been slightly bigger than my right one. This has always bothered the crap out of me. So my stupid a$$ decided to solely concentrate on building up my right deltoid and I ended up overtraining it. My guess is this happened over a period of a month, but the muscle loss didn't occur until I trained it intensely 3-4 days in a row (without any rest in between). My right deltoid is now noticeably smaller, particularly the rear deltoid. Even the skin around my right shoulder feels loose now. Plus my nutrition during that period was pretty bad...

This has given me a huge complex and I'm completely stressing out. I've learned the hard way about overtraining. My question to you experts is what should be my next move? I know I should rest, but for how long? And once I'm done resting, how should I go about regaining the lost muscle so that my right deltoid matches my left one? I've read about muscle memory, would this apply to me?

Two different kinds of overtraining, muscular and systemic.

So with a small amount of muscular over-reaching, have I actually lost...

i dont think you can overtrain a specific body part like that.
