Hey everyone. Due to time constraints ( school, work, etc ) I have not been working out my legs and lower back. Seeing that these are staples in any routines, I need to be doing these. I work out 2 times a week doing my upper body. I know I could easily sqeeze another lifting session in there for deads, squats, lunges and a couple others. Would this 1 time a week be enough to see benefits? Or would I need to do these exercises 2 times per week like the others? I dont think I could have time to work out 4 times per week. Im 200lbs 6 foot 1 and have been working out for almost 2 years. Any comments or suggestions? Thanks for the help.

It is very difficult to squat heavy and deadlift heavy on the same day...

I guess that would be pretty hard.

5x5, 5x5, 5x5, or starting strength by Rippetoe.

That's what I suggest also.

Squatting 2 days a week would give you excellent results but 1 day is ...
