Hey there I'm new to posting on the bodybuilding.com forums but I've been reading them for months and months now. Very informative and that search button is definitely a life saver. 8)

Stats: 20 years old
Height 5'11"
Weight 163

I've dabbled in strength training for quiet a while now. My experiences range from being that 18 year old kid doing random excercies at the local ballys, progressing to finding this site and actually learning good information. I have trained the Mike Mentzer High Intensity method for a while then went to a push/pull/legs method most recently going on 5-6 weeks the last 4 weeks being strictly logged.

Background aside my goal is to become a fireman, and for that goal I know I need the strength to backup my job. Thats what brings me to starting this log. Monday I will be starting a modified Rippetoe Starting Strength program I saw here on the forums. Wish me luck everyone I know I have the raw intensity and drive to make this program work for me.
