Posted at July 29, 2013, 9:00 am: to set the scene i am a 16 year old student from the uk. my current level of fitness is non existant and i am very overweight. i am writing this journal for a few reasons. the first of which is because i believe it will help keep me motivated on my path and help me keep on my way to my goals. background--- a few weeks ago i decided to ride my bike to a neighbouring town. it was around a 1mile and a half journey so i got my bike out and set off. it was the first time i had been on a bike in 2 years. 5 minutes later i was so tired i ended up pushing my bike all the way there. to me this acted as a wake up call that i needed to do something about my fitness and quick. after trawling the forums of www.bodybuilding.com and finding so much helpful information from the unselfish members of this board i have decided it is time to stop reading and time to start acting. i decided to formulate a fitness program for myself. i have decided to set myself with a starting goal of losing 30lbs. age: 16 height: 5"11 build: large weight: 210lbs or 95kg bodyfat : 36.8% -------------------------------------------------------------------------- TRAINING my training program was very confusing to decide due to the conflicting information on the forum regarding the way excercise regimes are layed out. after much thinking this is what i came up with monday -----upper body tuesday-----aerobics wednesday---lower body thursday-----aerobics friday--------upper body saturday-----aerobics sunday-------FREE DAY -------------------------------------------------------------------------- i am going to eat 6 meals a day with each meal consisting of a portion of carbs...protien and vegatables at this current moment in time i shall not be using any supplements. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- i shall be posting a picture of my progress every two weeks to see if there are any changes ang gains. if you see a major flaw in my program please tell me as any advice will be highly apreciated. i shall post a daily progress report on my excercises each day.
