Welcome to my journal!. I am currently having a 1/4 life crisis and I have decide to lay down a simple but stringent routine to gain mass/strength. I am even deciding to give up heavy drinking on the weekend. I will do the following for the next month and each month I will update with new press max's and body weight/pics. Note I am not that interested in looking ripped, rather I want bulk and more strength.
I have done free-weight for a while, well not really... more so I do a few exercises here and there. Sometimes taking months off, sometimes just a few days. So it's time to get the motiviation up. 90% will be compound exercises with only one isolation.
I will get a before pic asap, I have to borrow a digital camera. Don't worry I hardly doubt I will change within the next week
My Current physical stats are
Height: 185cm (6ft 1/2 inch) Weight: 93kg (205lb) Before meal and after "toilet". Age: 24 Metabolic rate: Medium-high Body Fat %: I am guessing around 15% but you can see the pics I will put up later this week and judge for yourself.
Here is my workout plan for the first next month.

Monday: Flatbench Bench Press 3x6-8 Triceip extensions 4x10 Bicep Dumbell Curls 4x8-10
Tuesday: Break
Wednesday: Bent Deadlifts 4x8-12 Seated Military Presses 4x8-12 Squats 4x15-20 *these squats will involve clean and press since my gym does not have a stack for a barbell. Hence the higher reps.
Thursday: Break
Friday: Same as Monday
Saturday: Same as Wednesday
Sunday: Break

I will start this tomorrow and I will post up my inital lifts for the exercises. I can however give you two already. Flat Bench: 242lb 6 reps 275: 1 rep Bumbell Bi curls: 55lb 8 reps each arm <-- I will add the other initials lifts here tomorrow when I start my Wednesday routine.
I have half decent general strength from martial arts training, so that helps. As each month passes I will re-evalue and customize the workout plan if needed.
I will post my diet plan next, anyway wish me luck, I am confident in big first month gains. Hopefully setting an online journal will motivate me more; with the added pressure of wanting to show results, hehe
