Posted at June 28, 2013, 7:43 am: Hey, names Andrew Ok, so I have officially started the Bill Star’s 5X5 program (intermediate) (http://www.geocities.com/elitemadcow...Linear_5x5.htm) last night. Hopefully with some assistance we can make this a very comprehensive journal – anyways, I have been lifting for 1-2 years, eating from ½ a year. I am 5 11¾, weight 215. I will post my pics tonight/tommorow, think I am probably around 12-15% bf. I will post some measurements tomorrow aswell. My goal is to put on some weight, get bigger. I plan on following the 5X5 program to a t, under the recommendation of a few people, that my workout program sucked before. One exception however, instead of Incline Press, changing that to Smith Machine Shoulder Presses. Before I started this program, I took a week off to test my maxes, they are as follows: Squat: 300 Bench: 230 Dead (new to this): 275 Shoulder Presses: 170 Rows: 180 (worried a little about form here) I think my intake is around 3000-4000cals, give or take, but I eat a ton, try to get as much in me as I can, but am open to changes and suggestions. Typical Meal Plan: 7:30: Bowl of Vector, 2 Packets of Oatmeal, Protein Shake 10-10:30: 3 Packets of Oatmeal 11-11:30: Protein Shake 1: Usually a sandwich, bowl of noodles, around 500-700, 40p, 70c, 10f (give or take) 2: Protein Shake 3:30: Times cannot get to this, another sandwich 5: Two toasts with Natural Peanut Butter 6-6:30 random meal, 500-700, 50p, 50c-100c, 10f (give or take), protein shake 8:30ish: snack, 2 oatmeal, or whatev I can find 9: Expand Shake b4 gym 9:30-10:30-11 gym 11: weight gainer, 790 cal, 50p, 70c ish, 8f SLEEP (now I think this is around what I need) I encourage anyone reading to comment/recommend, I am very open and willing to accept criticism and advice.
