Posted at June 29, 2014, 1:27 am: Hey Guys, First off a little about myself. Im 19, 6'6, around 220 lb. I've been going to the gym for about 3 months now, so I am very much so a beginner. I play relatively competitive basketball, which season is coming to an end, so I can finally start hitting the gym as hard as I would like! My Split will consist of: Day 1: Chest, Bis. Day 2: Legs Day 3: Back, Tris Day 4: Shoulders Day 5: Cardio (30mins on the ergo (rower) at <2:00/500m) Day 6: Rest With abs in there twice a week most likely Day 1 and Day 4 Extra cardio may be performed at night after working out. Firstly Any objections to this? My Goals are to bulk up for the next 2 months, then at the start of October really concentrate on having a really clean diet and cutting down, ultimately the aim is a six pack by December 6th. I'm taking no supplements at the moment due to insufficient funds, but i will be hitting the creatine for the 'bulking' months, and whey protein the whole way through. Todays Workout = Tuesday - 25/07/06 - Chest, Bi's and Abs Chest: Bench - Warmup - 88lb 10 reps Workout - 165lb 9 reps, 8 reps, 7 reps 6 reps Incline DB Bench - 49.5lb 9 reps, 10 reps, 10 reps - last 2 assisted. Strech - Flys - 15lb - 1 set of 10 reps. Biceps: BB Curl: 50lb - 10 reps, 60lb - 10 reps, 70lb - 10 reps. Abs - Decline Crunches 3 sets of 10, plus an extra rep of extra slow eccentric(lowering) phase movement. My very very poor nutrition consisted of... Meal 1 - 8 am Weet Bix Full Cream Milk 11am - Workout Meal 2 - 12:30 pm 2 x Vegemite and Cheese Sandwhiches on Wholemeal Post Workout shake - Musashi Premixed protein Meal 3 - 2:30 Bag of Lollies, glucose. Meal 4 - 5:30 Bowl of Rice with, egg, bacon, peas, capsicum.
