im trying to follow the principle in the cut diet book of controlling insulin levels with fat i.e. not eating just carbs and protein alone. however i have a couple questions/things that someone could answer or confirm...

is there a set amount of fat that needs to be taken with carb meals? does the amount go up as carbs go up? (this is for a meal with low-moderate carbs such as oatmeal)

is the amount of fat required to control and insulin spike of a high gi carb much higher than what it would be to control a low gi carb?

does the order of which you eat the meal make much of a difference? for instance i usually eat: veggie, then protein, then carb mixed with fat. is this optimal? or is there a better way? what would happen if i ate the carbs first?

if someone could help me out with these things it would be greatly appreciated. thank you for your time
