Yesterday I was doing barbell rows with 125 lbs for 7 reps and felt pain on my left bicep tendon on my 6th rep while pulling the weight up. I did a warm up set with 95 lbs for 15 reps. Then I did lat pull downs with 140 lbs but couldn't do more than 6 reps because of pain on my left bicep tendon while pulling down. The week before that I did 7 reps in lat pulldowns with same weight and didn't have any pain on my left bicep tendon. Am I going too heavy on these type of exercises and should I increase my rep range to around 12-15 range with 120 lbs next time after I recover? I didn't feel like my biceps were getting an adequate workout after going heavy with low reps and felt it more in my bicep tendon. I've been doing low-rep/high-weight lat pulldowns for the past month but haven't seen any progress in terms of improving reps at those weights and all I'm getting is injuries.

7 reps isnt considered "low reps" by many people.

Any amount of reps for any exercise can be dangerous.

Well first off I'm a bit worried that your saying your not feeling it ...

Sounds like you might be pulling too much weight before your arms are ...
