Based upon this most recent email from paypal we users should be jumping for joy! Hey, lower fees, GREAT! What a joke!!! In truth it is a HUGE fee increase. Go here to see what I mean.

You will notice that the new fee structure for those of us who do less that $100,000.00 per month in paypal transactions (which I would bet is all of us) are going to be paying 2.9% (I currently pay 2.2% because of my volume which is far below $4,000 per month in paypal transactions). In order to maintain my current rate I would have to have at least $10,000 per month in paypal transactions.
What REALLY burns me is not the fee increase. I have to be honest with you, I have been expecting it because paypal is owned by ebay and we all KNOW that will always mean higher fees! What burns me is that paypal perpetrates this fraud by telling me how GREAT this new fee structure is for all sellers
I am sorry but as near as I can tell the only people who will "benefit" from this is paypal ie. ebay. Lookout folks! Our pockets are again about to be picked by this monster that WE the users created. This is of course how they choose to repay us!!!
