Is this a good idea or not? Cleans have been giving me shoulders like no other. But I still want to work on putting weight up over my head. Actually I should say the first couple of sets are hang clean with OH press and the last couple are hang clean with push press. It really saps me to do both movements at once.

I'm doing Madcow's 5x5 so I only have one real shoulder exercise per week. I know you aren't supposed to mess with the program. And while I was getting great strength gains. Never would have thought I could do seated military press at 160 for one let alone five. Wasn't really adding any mass to my shoulders.

Not interested in doing a power clean because after this I turn around and do deadlift.
