Posted at July 4, 2005, 2:19 pm: Hello, In June I learned about the new no-listing fees auctions on Yahoo. They previously had listing fees that were lower. I decided to give it a try from some of the CollectorOnline/Tias.com listings that I have several of. I set up for Yahoo auctions to have a link to my home page, set up an account, and sent several items over, a few a day. I was delighted, and a list appeared on tias.com though not the links themselves. It seemed ever so easy to send things over. All seemed great with links back to tias.com, the category page, and my home page though relisted items don't show. In any case all worked until yesterday. Now I no longer see my list from the home page and also cannot do the final review and sending of items over. All seems to work fine until the final review. Is the link broken? I would greatly like to see this work, as this is the best alternative to Ebay that there is, if enough people would learn of it and use it. It is probably easier to use, and with the absence of listing fees is worth sending directly from tias.com to get the links. I have noticed some traffic from Yahoo auctions to my tias.com site since I started this experiment. There's other auctions, but Yahoo seems to be the best known and most viable of the Ebay alternatives, if only it would work and people will learn about it. It does not seem to have as much problem with links (or since all links are to tias.com inventory) it seems to have a lot of potential if word gets around and people can learn to use another venue. Of course, it has to work first. I want to be sure the links to tias.com are all working okay.
