I've been training for a number of years now and I hate performing squats. The main problem is I can never decide the best foot width when performing them. I've searched the internet and looked in books and everyone seems to have a different form.

The thing is, I don't have time to do wide, medium, close etc. I'm aware a wide width hits the inside whilst a closer footing hits the outside. I just want to find the best width to hit all the muscles perfectly, for both development and power, that I can concentrate on and get the weight up.

Is there any easy way of finding that width? Shoulder width? Wider than shoulder width? Any advice or tips anyone could give? Any tricks? It really is an exercise that drivers me nuts! I always walk away from it feeling unsatisfied, like I could have found a better foot position but now it'll have to wait till next time!

Thanks.
