Ok, so the treadclimber today said that at the rate I was going, and my weight, I would be able to burn 1000 calories in an hour. This weekend when I was going slower, it said I would burn 800 or so calories in an hour.

Someone told me that is not possible to do. At my weight of nearly 300lbs, is it possible to burn that many calories in an hour?

I know I should not focus solely on calories burned...instead I am focusing on time and intensity spent at doing exercise, and to be honest, I am just focusing on the fact that I am making going to the gym something to look forward to during my day.

Also, does anyone have a good website aside from fitday that has a good calculation of calories burned doing different exercises?

thanks in advance.
